Any Metadata Magic Out There?

Post by soundesigner » Sat Dec 17, 2011 9:02 pm

My Christmas Wish: a way to marry something like Tunatic (which "listens" to a piece of music then identifies it) with MusicBrainz (which pulls up metadata). Basically, it's a pain in the patoot having to hand-type metadata when music is played on vinyl, directly from the CD player, cassette, wire recorder--anything other than the automation computer. Anybody have any genius solutions so our college station DJs can do live shows without hand-entering the tags?

What is this live radio you speak of? Don't you know, Otto Mayshun handles all now :)

Ok, seriously, I would potentially be interested in something along these lines as well. We currently don't feed anything out with our stream, but I would like to. Of course, i have little control of the stream at the of the tradeoffs for the price (it's a really small number. Nobody comes close to it)
