Bric-link

Howdy,
I have a Comrex Bric link on order for a translator installation. Does anyone have experience in setting one of these links into action? Thanks

I can answer a question or two also. I have several clients with STL links using BRIClink over DSL.

If this is going into a PPM market you need to have the PPM encoder behind the link or run it in a linear mode if the encoder has to be at the studio end.

The compressed audio formats do a wonderful job of stripping away the watermarking since "you can't really hear it anyway".

Fill-in or non-com? Feeding the Bric-link with off-air?
Trim to fit, paint to match, tune for minimum smoke.

I'm about to commission a BRIClink-fed translator in a town not far from you, Lee. I had forgotten about that...thanks!
