Wireless Mics and the Repack

Post by grich » Sat Nov 03, 2018 9:56 pm

One of my clients had a Tieline lose a power supply and had to fall back onto their spare gear yesterday on their football broadcast, then had an issue with the sideline reporter.

They fixed the issue, but their problem plus the fact that a UHF station in town moved channels this week put a thought into my head...as the TV Repack progresses, we all need to mind our wireless mics and IFB's to make sure a TV station doesn't end up on top of them. We've already replaced equipment that operated above channel 36, right?
