MOLEX CONNECTORS FOR AUDIOARTS R10

Post by RGORJANCE » Thu Sep 05, 2019 9:11 am

Does anyone in this vast knowledge base know what the MOLEX male and female part numbers for the R10/15 are?

The manual only gives AUDIOARTS parts numbers, not MOLEX. They are 12 pin.

Tnx,

Seemed like I juat dug out this information not long ago--maybe on the Broadcast mailer. They are not molex--made by TE Connectivity. Have all the part numbers--but not on the office computer. Will post them tonight.

And here they are:

CONNECTOR PIN (MALE) MR CONSOLE CONNECTORS
Digikey A14199-ND
Mouser 571-6405451

SOCKET CONTACT (FEMALE) MR CONSOLE CONNECTORS
Digikey A14197-ND
Mouser 571-6413001

CAP: (the header on the console motherboard, uses the pin crimps)
12 pin
Digikey A14105-ND
Mouser 571-16405120

PLUG: (plugs into motherboard, socket style crimps)
12 hole plug (R5, similar consoles)
Digikey A14115-ND
Mouser 571-16405220

15 hole plug --Auditronics 2500 series:
Mouser 571-16405230

I think the R-10 series used the 12 pin connectors, I have Auditronics 2500 that use the 15 pin variety.

AWESOME!!
Thanks for the extremely quick response. I got a project to add an audio switch for use to bypass console in case of failure. I will pre-wire the plugs so I can speed up the installation.

That was me looking for the 12 position shells and pin/sockets for an R5. I ordered a batch of them but haven't had a chance to start rewiring the console but they look like the exact replacement.
