Wanted Gates BC-1T or equivalent

Post by filamentopen »

Hello All,

Trying to help out someone who lost their primary transmitter. Station is a simple 1kw daytimer.

Do you have an old Gates or the like... 1Kw transmitter stored somewhere and need to find it a good home??? It's best if it worked when pulled from service. If you have literature for tuning and repair to go with it...even better!

A solid state unit is fine too...just looking to help someone,

All advice or info is appreciated. You can post here or PM me.

Thanks!

I may be able to borrow and scan a BC-1T manual if you end up with one, but the transmitter itself went into amateur service years ago and so is not available. I have a scan of an ITA/Wilkinson AM-1000A manual if you end up with one of those.

Thanks for the kind offers. I mentioned the Gates BC-1 as it is a solid standby unit...was just looking to see what was available out here. Will check out the Nautel.

I know of a station off the air with a dead xmtr.

Probably needs a new one...just trying to get it back on the air cheaply and quickly.

Thanks!
